Innovation Is the Key to Success

Innovation is the key to success and is a powerful weapon to have when you are traveling the road to success. Innovation does not belong to the rich or powerful, it belongs to everyone that lives today! Facebook, Amazon, and Apple started out as a dream from ordinary people. The same can be said about you, the reader; you have that potential to be someone great in your personal or business life.

It takes practice on your skill or niche to overcome any obstacle that you will face on your journey towards success. This article will give the mental software to reprogram your brain for success by being innovative in your personal or business life.

1. If you have an innovative idea, keep it to yourself. You have to protect your dream at all cost! Sharing your dream or idea will only lead to criticism and theft. Those people who have stolen your dream will claim all the credit, leaving you in the dark.

2. Achieving success for your innovation requires that you spend a great deal of time making your dream a reality. Organize your daily schedule where you can find the time to work on your dream. If you have a day job, you can plan a time before, during, or after work in which you can start working on your innovation.

3. If you are having trouble thinking up of an original idea for your project, get up and move around to get the blood flowing to your brain. As I was writing this article, I had to get up and move around for a couple of minutes to think of original ideas for this article; as many of you can tell, writing articles is my innovation.

4. Don’t be afraid to write your dreams or ideas in a journal or notebook. It will surprise you to see how powerful your brain is when you use it as you are jotting down your innovation. This is how ordinary people become successful in life.

5. People love to hear or read ideas that are unique and original. Take the time to look at the great works of famous artists. No 2 paintings are the same; each one is different and tells a story that will capture the attention of the audience. For example, I have six children that are growing up too fast; each day they leave a huge mess for me to clean up. One day, I was searching the internet on how to quickly get a house cleaned up. Website after website, I was reading the same old stuff that I learned as a kid until I came across a YouTube video that showed one technique that I have never heard of before; the result was a clean house in 20 mins!

6. As an expert article writer, with many of my articles being used on many high-ranking websites, all I needed was a computer, internet connection, and the desire to succeed. You will only need the basic tools to make your dream a reality. If your innovation is to write a book, all that you need is a piece of paper and a plain pen or pencil. If you are looking to start an affiliate marketing career, you will need a computer and an internet connection. If you want to become a great scientist or mathematician, start reading books and memorize the formulas.

In conclusion, you can see why innovation is the key to success. It will lead to personal and financial wealth.

How to Become More Innovative

Can you be more innovative? To be honest, I don’t know. I think 40 percent of the population can never be good at innovating, regardless what they do. The 10% population are born to innovate. They always knew what they want to do and how they can achieve it.

The rest of 50 percent could learn to be good at innovating if they can persuade their brain to ignite their light in the dark, rather than waiting to be rescued by others.

Innovation is not only about technology. You can innovate in any field of work or every aspect of your lifestyle. For example, Facebook and Google treat their employees better than any other company. Management invented a unique way to motivate employees.

So how to become more innovative – Here is how

Observe and ask questions

Make this a habit. Whenever you discover something new, observe and answer three questions.

Why would anybody use or buy this service/product?
Would you ever purchase this service/product? And why
How can improve it?

By answering these questions, you are developing your mind to be more innovative. Don’t be afraid to sound stupid when you answer. You will learn along the way.

Be critical when answering these.

Aim to solve problems

The invention is useless if it cannot solve problems. Every invention in history had a purpose, a way to solve problems.

How to find problems?

Talk to people
Think about different ways to make life easier
Research failed projects and the intention behind it

Once your mind is set to solve problems then you will start generating quality and new ideas. This exercise will make you more innovative.

Think about problems you tackle every day.

List 10 ideas every day

I list ten ideas every morning because that’s when my brain can unleash its full power. You should do it at the time best suits you.

Here is a trick: Don’t think you can’t do it, Just do it. Grab a pen and paper, and start writing your ideas.

It can be anything you like or want to change such as:

How to make life easier
How to sell more products
How to improve business contacts
How to improve SMEs profit
How to improve health with little spending on personal coaching

List all the ideas you can think of even it has been invented. You might want to improve on an exciting idea.

Let’s do the maths ten ideas a day for the whole year

10×365 = 3,650 ideas a year

If you have over 3,000 bad ideas, 500 ideas are already out there you still have over 100 ideas to choose from.

You only need one idea to take you where you want to be.

Change your attitude

If you want to become an innovator you need to change your attitude.

STOP saying you “can’t”

START saying “can if”

These words should eliminate from your brain if you want to think and become an innovator.

“I can’t do it”
“It won’t work”
“I am not sure”
“He/She can do better than me”

When you have a problem or can’t understand things then it is easier to walk. Next when you have a problem or can’t understand do things differently.

Start mind mapping on how to solve
Learn in a different way
Ask for help

From today start to sentences like “I can if… ” rather “I can’t because… ”

Take action

You can read thousands of articles, read many books, ask for advice but it will not happen until you take an action.

How many time have you decided to lose weight, read articles about losing weight, asked for advice, and joined the gym.

After one month you did not lose any weight, why? Because you had the knowledge but you never put into action.

Once you have decided it do something, even if you die doing it, it should be fine with you.

Innovators take action. They are committed to their work, ideas, and will stand by it even if they die.

Simply because they believe they can do it.

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve regardless of how many times you may have failed in the past.” By Napoleon Hill.

Most people do not develop them self and enhance their skills. It is because they don’t know how to reach next level.

Valuable Lessons Taught By Children

Maybe you’re a parent or one of your siblings is. Perhaps you have a close friend that is a parent. It could be that your kids have kids or your kid’s kids have kids. There is probably someway that children are in your life. The common mindset towards children is that it is the adult’s job to teach them. Something that many people don’t consciously acknowledge is that children are great teachers themselves. That is to say a child has the potential to teach an adult just as much if not more than an adult could teach a child. Lessons taught to a child will differ greatly from the lessons a child teaches. Adults tend to teach ideals in the logical realm while children teach the illogical. What do I mean by illogical?

Children are great teachers of faith. If you are a parent you probably have noticed how much faith your child or children have in you. They believe you are a source of infinite knowledge. Yet the really powerful thing is they have total and complete faith in your character. They believe that you are only capable of doing the right thing. Is there anyone in your life that you have that much faith in? Faith is a powerful thing and children have a great capacity to trust those they care about. Something every adult should take notice of.

Another great lesson that can be learned from a child is to be present. Children are notorious for living or as some people refer to it as living in the moment. Obviously children don’t have the stress of work, bills and preconceived notions but I don’t want to take away from a child’s ability to be fully present. That ability allows children to experience the complete range of human emotions that a logical mind tends to suppress. They don’t wait for the right moment to enjoy the world. They just enjoy it. Let’s use an upcoming doctor’s appointment as an example. An adult will think about the appointment, try to prepare for it and wait for it to happen. While a child will play or do whatever he/she sees fit until the actual appointment takes place. Children have a knack for focusing on only what they want to focus on which is usually what is happening now.

The last lesson to be learned from children I want to address is their creativity. Imagination is something we all associate with children and rightfully so. It is absolutely amazing to watch a child play. They are able to create a game from pretty much anything. They come up with new ideas that aren’t based on how profitable it might be but on how much fun it is. Their imagination allows them to experience life in so many different ways. When was the last time you weren’t so concerned about your image that you could just act like a dog and bark at your friends? Better yet, when was they last time you were even able to imagine you were a dog? Creativity spawns from losing yourself in the moment. If you are unable to be completely present you won’t be able to be truly creative.

Children are teachers of so many other lessons but those three are some of the most powerful. Being an adult is great but being an adult with a child’s outlook on life is absolutely wonderful. Children are the world’s greatest inventors and scientists even if most people refuse to acknowledge the fact. If children were in control of the world I guarantee it’d be a better place. They may never have all the answers but they’d definitely be willing to ask to right questions.
